The Tuscarawas Valley Local Schools Adopt-a-Chair program is a donation-based effort to refurbish the Tusky Valley High School auditorium. The auditorium was built in 1956 and has remained unchanged for nearly 60 years. The auditorium is used for multiple purposes throughout the year including choir performances, plays and musicals, assemblies, community meetings, district-wide staff meetings, professional development meetings, etc. The goal of the program is to give new life to the 440 wooden seats by restoring them with cushioned fabric to provide greater comfort, restore beauty, and enhance enjoyment for our students and community residents. A gift of $240 will refurbish one chair. Any donation amount will be accepted. A donor plaque with the names of all donors will be permanently displayed in the lobby outside the auditorium entrance. To be placed on the donor plaque, a minimum donation of $50 is required. Click here to download a donation form and Adopt-a-Chair brochure. |
