The TVMS Student Body recently partnered with the TVHS Interact Club to raise money for the relief efforts in Haiti. The funds raised will be combined with money from the local Rotary Club to purchase Shelter Boxes for victims of the recent earthquakes. Together we have raised over $1,000 during the fundraiser! Members of the TVMS Student Council coordinated the fundraising efforts. They sponsored a series of "spirit days" and placed canisters in the school cafeteria to collect spare change. For a minimum donation of one dollar, TVMS students had the opportunity to participate in a hat day, a mismatch day, a pajama and slippers day, a twins day and a beach day. The TVMS student body enjoyed the spirit days and raised $955.27 for a worthy cause. Congratulations to all of the students who participated! |
