First Graders Visit Santa at the North Pole!
Students in Elise Lab’s first grade class recently visited with Santa at the North Pole during a distance learning session.  Santa took time out of his busy schedule to sing and dance with the class as well as assure each student that he has received their letters and is working hard on the gifts that they asked for.  Santa and his elf also talked with the students about the similarities and differences between reindeer (caribou) and white tailed deer.  Click here to see a photo gallery!

TVIS Gets New Distance Learning Equipment!
Students and teachers at Tusky Intermediate School have a new learning opportunity in their building! A Polycom video conferencing unit and document camera were donated to the school by the Zoar Community Association. The unit allows students to participate in distance learning sessions from the Intermediate building. In the past, students had to travel to Tusky Valley High School to take part in any distance learning sessions. The unit is valued at $10,200.
